About Edible Madison’s Dinner Service
“With this event, we aim to celebrate the food movement of southern Wisconsin, shine a national spotlight on our distinct culinary region and raise funds to teach kids vital life skills: how to grow and cook good, nutritious food.
Chef Naomi Pomeroy of Beast in Portland, Oregon, and 2014 James Beard Best Chef Northwest and Chef Tory Miller of L’Etoile in Madison and 2012 James Beard Best Chef Midwest will collaborate to create a memorable three-course meal with wine pairings utilizing the best of southern Wisconsin’s bounty.
Prior to the dinner, Kyle Linden Webster, mixologist and proprietor of Expatriate cocktail bar in Portland, and Thor Messer and the bar team at Merchant in Madison will host a cocktail hour featuring a Portland twist on the quintessentially Wisconsin cocktail.
Guests will also enjoy a diverse offering of canapés prepared by members of the Madison Area Chefs Network, including Casey Trumble of Brasserie V, Luke Zahm of Driftless Cafe, Tom Welther ofThe Edgewater, Timothy Smith of Forequarter, Dan Fox of Heritage Tavern, Anna Dickson of Merchant, Tim and Elizabeth Dahl ofNostrano, and Dan Bonanno of A Pig in a Fur Coat.
