Position Overview
The core role and tasks of this position are to perform and oversee all bookkeeping duties, tax reporting and payroll and H/R. The Finance Manager will also work closely with the Director of Finance to develop key financial reporting, banking, forecasting and costing systems among three separate profit centers (roastery and two cafes).

 Core Responsibilities

  • A/R and A/P
  • Payroll
  • Banking and reconciliation
  • General journal entries and reconciliation
  • Financial management assistance (budgeting, cash flow, costing and reporting)
  • Expense management
  • Assist with managing profitability goals
  • Monthly and quarterly tax management
  • Annual tax preparation with CPA
  • H/R maintenance

 Requirements and Desired Skills

  • Proficiency with Quickbooks and integrated web apps
  • 3+ years bookkeeping experience
  • Financial management experience
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Trustworthy and willingness to handle confidential information
  • Stellar communication and time management skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office programs
