Handcrafting coffee is our passion and pursuit, all day, every day. We aim to deliver magic by the cup—coffee that’s soulful, satisfying, and deeply delicious.

What drives us? A desire to measure up to strict standards we set for ourselves, from field to final package. We seek out relationships with farmers whose restless quest for excellence matches our own. We partner with them through our cooperatively-owned importing organization, Co-op Coffees, or we work with them directly. We roll up our sleeves together and engage in an ongoing conversation about the best ways to shape and preserve the flavor and personality of each crop, a cultural terroir as unique and indelible as a fingerprint.

In the roasting room, we are flavor scientists at work and play. Our intimate knowledge of each harvest, and our highly tuned palates, guide us in unleashing the latent potential of each harvest. We roast in small batches to order, creating a dynamic palette of flavors from subtle and nuanced, to bold and brassy, and ship our coffee within days to best showcase the artistry of farmer and roast master alike.

We’re pleased that our coffee is recognized in periodicals like Coffee Review and Roast Magazine (Roaster of the Year 2010). And we’re proud to be a multi-year recipient of the Good Food Award. But to us, the greatest prize is knowing we’ve delivered something superlative—coffee that delights, surprises, and maybe even makes life a little more delectable!
